How to use cheats in Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver

Hi guys.
So I faced problem of trading pokemon in emulators years ago. Cheats allowed me to "spawn" them in tall grass so i can own them without trading with someone.
DraStic offers great amount of cheat options, but it's pretty confusing for me. Basicly I have two problems:

1. I want to change gender of the pokemon. Can anybody tell me how to use cheats to do it? I'm sure it has something to do with Male/Female + Nature Modifier (L) section.
2. When I'm choosing pokemon that sould be now in tall grass f.e. Ralts it's always a male, and always 1 lvl even when I chosen exact lvl in "Wild PKMN Level Modifier" section.
