I was playing pokemon platinum and I got stuck, so I decided to activate the walk anywhere cheat and the hover cheat. After finding out where I had to go, I went back to where I previously was, disabled the cheats in the cheat menu, saved the game then exited. Since then I have been able to open up other pokemon Platinum saves, and play other games, but whenever I try to open the original save, the game just boots me back to the menu without opening the save.
