Zelda : phantom hourglass mic problem

Hi! Well I just test out the mic and it won't work on zelda!
I download micrecord.nds and my microphone work pretty well but the game doesn't recognise it. And I try to put a microphone cheat and it won't work either so.. Help please?

Have you tried it with audio off?

This might be a little late but I just recently had this issue and found the solution..
So get close to the object you need to blow on or shout at then press the menu button that brings up the quick menu and touch and hold the mic icon. That worked for me.
