Post by xCorrupt » Sat Aug 17, 2013 11:47 am

Ive been using this emulator for a few days now and its amazing. I was wondering if there was a way to add cheats, since ive noticed a number of cheats dont actually work.

Q: How do I add new cheats?
A: Currently there's no way to add new cheats from within the
emulator. But it's possible to edit the cheat database file using a
third party cheat editor on a PC, for instance R4CC (This page
explains it http://r4ds.wikia.com/wiki/
How_To_Add_Cheats_To_R4 ). You can edit DraStic's cheat database
file which can be found here on your Android device:
/sdcard/Android/data/com.dsemu.drastic/files/usrcheat.dat
If we get a lot of requests for a cheat editor we may add it to a
later version.

The Cheat editor in that link doesnt work for some people. I downloaded R4CCe from Nother source which worked fine. If i can find the page i got it from ill link it.

However unfortunately most of those cheats that don't work in drastic DO work with other DS emulators. I know this as i in-putted my own cheat list for Heart Gold using the cheat editor (all from No$gba) and most of them froze at some point.
Devices running Android:

- Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (CM12.1, overclocked, undervolted)
- Asus Nexus 7 2013 (Stock Marshmallow...to play Pokemon GO on...)
- Tenfifteen QW09 SmartWatch (Kitkat)
- Fujitsu Lifebook T4410 Touchscreen Laptop (Remix OS 3.0)

Well your gonna have to wait, the devs are busy and cheats is probably one of the last things they're gonna do.
