[Bug] Mario Party DS

Post by Sabi96 » Thu Aug 15, 2013 6:18 am

I played mario party ds, worker perfectly until i got to a minigame called cyber scamper. The minigame itself works for 3 seconds and crashes the emulator back to the menu. I tried all settings but nothing helped

Can you provide a savestate before the crash?

Lucky i got one. This one is right before the crash (sometimes it doesn't even load), but when it does it literally loads for half a second and crashes to the menu.

I will report any bugs i encounter. Best of luck to you on this one.

If you need an earlier state, like in the menu, i can get that too.

Thank you very much, I will look at this savestate today and let you know if we need any other ones.

I had this bug too, but I played the minigame on my computer desmume, and then beat the game.

Edit: forgot to mention after unlocking all minigames, this is the only one that crashes.

As of v2.1.2a, this bug is somewhat fixed. It gets to the 'Start' point, and you are able to move around for a few seconds before it crashes. Still prevents you from completing, but it is a bit better.

Does this happen with threaded 3D off?

The problem is I can't reproduce this in the savestate sent, when using the Pandora version. It's possible that there's a bug on the Android version only but outside of it being caused by threaded 3D it's unlikely.

I have a single-core device, so I never use multithreadimg anyways. I dont mind it much, in the rare chance that I get this minigame out of all the others, it resets and I only have to replay one turn.

For me on 2.1.1a, it crashed about a second in, before controlling your character.
