Hello, working Drastic savegames on pc nds emulator needed

Post by braeg » Sat May 03, 2014 2:49 pm

Well i try to get my drastic pokemon savegame running on my pcs desmume, tried all and everything, people say it worked for them but it does not for me.

does anyone have any experience with importing/exporting from drastic to another ds emu (that has multiplayer support for trading!!!) ?

thanks in advance

Save files (.dsv) don't work in DeSmuME 0.9.10 because they changed the format handling to reject .dsv without the DeSmuME header. It should still work in older versions. Savestates (.dss) can't be loaded ever.

The following worked for me:

Desmume -> Drastic
Export backup memory as raw save format
go to http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php
Source format: "Acekard 2 | CycloDS | EDGE | M3 Simply | NinjaDS | R4 | Supercard CF | Supercard One | Supercard S | Top TOy DS (.sav)"
Target format: "Acekard RPG | EZFlash V | RAW Format (.sav)"
Change extension to dsv
copy to (internal SD card)\DraStic\backup

Drastic -> Desmume
copy from (internal SD card)\DraStic\backup
go to http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php
Source format: "Acekard RPG | EZFlash V | RAW Format (.sav)"
Target format: "Acekard 2 | CycloDS | EDGE | M3 Simply | NinjaDS | R4 | Supercard CF | Supercard One | Supercard S | Top TOy DS (.sav)"
Use Import backup memory function in Desmume

I would make a back-up copy of the dsv file before overwriting it.
