Pokemon White random freezes (have logcat of it)

Device tested on: Nexus 4 (4.4 rooted stock rom), HP touchpad (cyanogemod 9)
I notice that in Pokemon white, the game freezes randomly.I can still press the buttons and stuff but nothing happens so it seems like it just stops emulating the game. Pressing reset does nothing. I notice it happens more often on the nexus 4 than my HP touchpad.
I tried enabled/disabling, enabled/disabling multi-threaded and enabled/disabling filter.
It may be caused by fast-forwarding, sound enabled or microphone enabled, but i didn't test this out.
