I don't recommend messing with the settings. As you will not get a DraStic boost in speed (yeah I'm so funny) I'd see if the device had a decent rom and an oc kernel. Some scripts will do nicely too.

also use seeder it help you just need to know good your device and you will tweaked for good speed
