It is on Android, iOS, Rasberry Pi, PC with Blue Stacks's Android emulator, & Chrome OS if you use Archon Packager or have a Chrome Book with Android OS support by default.

Wouldn't the overhead of bluestacks completely defeat any performance advantage Drastic would have had? What about compared to Desmume or no$gba?

Word of mouth says that the combo performs better than DeSmuME, which is beliavable since it got pretty power-hungry. no$ should be much lighter, but I doubt it's worth outside of very old computers.

DeSmuME is still worth a shot if you've got a decent PC video gaming rig. Desmume got a JIT interpreter not too long ago. I recommend to set it at 50 or crank it up to 100. As for the difference between desmume stand alone app & The Retroarch version for PC, I can't say much for certainty, but desmume on Retroarch for Android doesn't work well. It has a JIT Interpreter too, yet it doesn't seem to work. Trying it so far causes the app to crash. The best performance I've been able to get with that version, is ~45 FPS. Oddly, The JIT works in NDS Boy Pro for Android.

No$GBA development isn't dead. Version 2.8e has been released. Go with no$gba if you wanna play DSi exclusive titles. DSi Exclusive titles includes DSi Ware & a few games that required The DSi camera feature. DSi Enhanced ROM features are exclusive to DSi & No$GBA's DSi-Mode emulation, but those ROMs will work on DraStic & desmume in DS-Mode.

Desmume isn't as resource demanding as it used to be. Try out the different interpreters. JIT at 50% is fast enough & at 100% is twice as needed.
