Would it be possible to open multiple games at once?

The My Boy Gba emulator does this which allows trading between games
There is no wireless emulation no matter how many games you could load. The GBA used a much simpler serial cable (much like the original gameboy) to communicate. So as long as you could compensate for the low latency (time between sending and receiving signals) it woild be far easier to emulate. The way most emulators solved the issue was to run 2 instances of the games so the information could be sent at the proper speeds.
Latency is not really the same issue when looking at trading or other multiplayer activities on a nintendo DS. So running concurrent instances of games would only serve to slow down the emulator and nothing else.
