Limit framerate?

Post by LifesGoodGaming » Thu Aug 04, 2016 1:46 pm

Hey all,
I'm pretty new to the boards (not the emulator, mind you), and I've been wondering if limiting the framerate for games is a possibility. I need it to sync up the audio with the cutscenes in kirby super star ultra, because the cutscenes run much too fast for the audio. If there is any way to do this, please tell me. :P

It's just a timing error in the emulation of that particular game, nothing in changing the frame rates would affect it, everything would slow up or speed down. For some reason the videos in that game are really sensitive to timing and run too fast of the timing emulation isn't pretty close, as opposed to actually properly regulating the frame rate.

Better emulation or hacks or something could address this, but it's not something I've really wanted to mess with because it affects such a small part of the game.

Alright then. I'll just either find a hack or tough it out. Thanks so much!
