Nexus 6P not finding files

Hi,
Does anyone know why every time I load up DraStic, both demo and paid versions, it doesn't find any files at all? I click load new and it just takes me to the All Games tab with the '/' directory empty. Is this something to do with the way Android 6.0+ works with the shared storage?
It might just be something stupid and me just not noticing it, any help would be appreciated,
