Storm Silver HTC One M7

So long story short like a year ago I got into emulation and I wanted the best DS emulator after reading online about this one I automatically bought it and I must say I love it so I really wanna play Storm Silver but I want cheats like soul silver has or cheats in general for it I have a HTC One M7 and I even downloaded the latest usrcheat.dat file but whenever I open the game no cheats pop up in the cheat database can I put in soul silver cheats manually the action replay ones or is there something else I have to do because I know it can be done what do I sooooo? BTW I have storm silver version 1.05 can someone please guide me specifically on how to do this?
