drastic cheat help (pokemon heart gold)

Hello
I just received the beldum from steven, named iron
And i dont want naming pokemon
Question:
In the cheats menu there's an option "name pokemon that are not yours"
I believe in the pkmn related menu
I click the button, now what?
There's not an instruction written on it like press a + b
How do i use this cheat or at least change my poke's id and ot
I really hate cheating and this will be my 1st time using cheat?
Any help?

I think that cheat just enables you to use the the name rater (in goldenrod city) as you would any other pokemon you own...either that or just change the wild pokemon modifier and catch another beldum :p

My bad, why havent i thought of going to goldenrod
(Coz im in kanto and im lazy enough to go to johto, so i go to lavender)

Another question
Since my post name is drastic cheat help
I dont create a new thread
I accidentally traded my only exp share to an in game character
Now im wondering how to activate this red scale cheat
And how to make the green man appear so that i can trade it to mr.pokemon
Or can i get an exp share by using other cheats?
If you can tell me, pls elaborate
I'll really appreciate any help

I dont know...the code works fine for me :/
Go to event items code (part 1) and press L+R to.activate it.

I tried clicking l + r together and l then r but the green man dont appear
And it said that i enter code before entering shop i tried that too and while entering the shop
Does it need a real code to work?

Hmmm...im not sure. All i did was load up the game, enable the cheat before loading my save data, and then activating as soon as i get in game. To be fair i flew to a different city aswell just in case

I may have seen the reason for this
The L and R button is the analog button right?
But how come in the options menu
Enable analog triggers is unchecked and cant be checked
This should solve it i think

No they should be the bumpers on the gamepad. If you're having difficulties just enable the touchscreen buttons and use them to enable the code.

The lr buttons work on landscape but not on portrait
But im still stuck and mr.pokemon wont trade me
Can i get an instant exp share using cheats
