Yotaphone 2 second screen as input

I started a topic about using the second screen as the touch screen, but then I had another idea about using it as an input for the shoulder buttons. It would make playing any emulator with shoulder buttons way more comfortable. I thought this topic deserved it's own thread.

So what do you say?
Does any one else think using the back of their android for input would be comfortable?
Do you know of any other devices that could achieve something similar?
I remember a phone that had a small touch screen on the back but I don't remember what it was called. It was mainly used to change volume when in a call.
Would you rather tape one of these to the back of your phone and use it's buttons instead?:

btw, for those who don't know: the Yotaphone 2 has an e ink display (like the Kobo devices) on the back and it's also a touch screen.

IMHO, I wouldn't care at all. It would not help me and I guess it would not hurt me.

If a game requires button presses so often or so precise tht I am worrying about the shoulder buttons the it is a game I am using my Gamestom Red Samurai 2 (Bluetooth controller) to play. Honestly, physical controls (like on the xperia play, or gpd xd) would be the only phone 'gimmick' that I would consider as useful for gaming (native or emulated).

As far as the Yotaphone 2 in particular goes.... it might be nice for reading ebooks on the e ink display to save on power.... though to be honest I think I would rather just carry arround a credit card sized battery pack for $20 then pay extra for a phone with extra screens to break if ot gets droped.

As far as using both screens fpr the emulator. I will let exo state if that would be easy or hard and just add that realy only a clamshell design like the kyocera echo would be a reasonable way to do it. Having to continually flip your phone over to see the other screen woukd be so annoying as to eliminate any small benefit from having 2 screens.
