How can I get game stickers off?

Post by ericbazinga » Thu May 14, 2015 9:30 pm

I recently bought a used Nintendo 64 game (Star Wars Episode 1- Battle For Naboo), but it has these annoying 'Used' stickers on it that won't come off, they just cling to the cartridge and hold on for dear life...
Any ideas on getting those off? :?

You can also find me on Reddit (u/Ericbazinga) and Discord (in the DraStic Discord server). You'll find me in those places almost daily and here almost never.

WD-40 is not the best of ideas to use on a cartridge since if you get it on the connectors it attracts water which will rust the metal connection pins. Just use simple rubbing alcohol or if you want to be fancy products like goo-gone were specifically designed with your problem at heart.

Although to be perfectly honest if it was star wars episode 1 racer I would recomemd a flamethrower to remove the sticker and if you destroy the cart it would be an added bonus, but you got the good SWE1 N64 game so I hope you enjoy it.
