Best GBA emulator on android?

Anyone have suggestions? I'm not familiar with any of the developers on the play store currently.

I was gonna suggest the same, myboy is super fast, and supports local multiplayer aswell.
Devices running Android:

- Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (CM12.1, overclocked, undervolted)
- Asus Nexus 7 2013 (Stock Marshmallow...to play Pokemon GO on...)
- Tenfifteen QW09 SmartWatch (Kitkat)
- Fujitsu Lifebook T4410 Touchscreen Laptop (Remix OS 3.0)

i prefer gba.EMU. i know its paid for but sound emulation is better and has lower latency. i get better framerate too

Its all a matter of preference. I could get myboy running fullspeed on a sony ericsson x10 mini (which isnt a good phone at any stretch of the imagination, @ 750mhz when overclocked).

i can agree gba.emu requires a faster device but u get more acurate emulation. my s4 mini is pretty powerful (1.7ghz dual core snapdragon 400 krait) so i can run it with no frameskip. same goes with drastic ds too

Talking about speed, gpSP from exophase himself is a miracle then =P
Runs on psp very well, and the maemo version of it runs well fullspeed even @200mhz.

Back to the matter at hand, I use both MyBoy and GbaEmu, I personally prefer MyBoy,
GbaEmu is precise, but I don't want precision =)

My boy is also a paid emulator aswell, just thought id throw that one in there.

Also theres Gameboid from yongzh (which i believe is free atm). Its alright on anything with a screen smaller than 5 inches. But theres no render change option, it renders on a 1:1 screen basis so even if you stretch the display it will look like shit on a tablet.

I've been researching about GBA emulation for the past years.

There are only 3 real emulation cores for GBA on Android:

- gpSP (open source):
GameBoid, My Boy!, John GBA, Retro/Hyper Game Boy and Advance, DroidEmu, Tiger GBA, Mojo GBA.

- VBA-M (open source):
GBA.emu, RetroArch (two cores: VBA-M and VBA-Next)

- VGBA (proprietary).

gpSP was developed by Exophase to PSP an then ported by himself to GP2X (gpSP2X).
gpSP-based emulators are faster, but VBA-M is more accurate.

You can choose from the list above.
The most updated and with more features are: My Boy!, VGBA, RetroArch and GBA.emu.
Moto G
ROM: Android 4.3 (stock)
SoC: Snapdragon 400
CPU: Cortex-A7 1.2 GHz (quad-core)
GPU: Adreno 305 450 MHz
