The above isnt true. I use both a modded play store and luckypatcher and never had a problem buying legit apps. Although my modded playstore is actually just a transparent version of the normal playstore, no licence dodging stuff added to it, so that might be it.

This sounds promising. I only require the 'multiplayer over wifi' emulation so i can play mario kart DS (and pokemon, obviously) online.

I have both, and i can say EPSXE is by far superior.
But neither can emulate the BIOS quite properly (sound cuts out half way through the boot sequence). Often the boot sound is the best bit of a PS1 game.

It depends what game ur using save states with.
Pokemon games for example it has been stated multiple times that using savestates are highly cautioned with them.
