Re: Maxing play time : battery ratio
Huh, so by decreasing responsiveness I can increase graphical fidelity. Cue surprise by dumb. Anyway, your math means that if I set skipping to 2, reducing framerate from 60 to 20FPS, Hi-3D become equivalent to native without skipping. And due to how forced skipping works diminishing returns are cau...

Re: Maxing play time : battery ratio
TK: I can't UC/UV my device much further without making it unstable, and if I could it might do worse. So for now outside of DraStic I just mantain standard Android battery saving: low brightness, less/good conection signal, etc. I've been looking for a external battery for other reasons, but didn't...

Maxing play time : battery ratio
More than once I wanted to play some games during those slow hours, but my less than stellar battery life doesn't let me. How can I set-up DraStic to minimize it's hunger? My guesses: - Forced frameskip: Since it's not rendered, it lessens the C/GPU load (more skipping = less battery?); - No filteri...

Re: Controller suggestion
http://www.gamestop.com/android/accessories/tablet-wireless-game-controller-v2/104425 SOOO cheap, wtf... But nope, no GameStop on Brasil AFAIK. Root and setup are non-issues. 2 controllers are a big no-no to me, so I don't mind losing a bit of time to make everything work as far as it does. I'll add...

Controller suggestion
I've been looking for a controller to play emulators on my PC/phone and want to know what do you use/suggest. There are some restrictions though: Not Xbox: I hate swapped XABY; Cross platform: Should work on Windows/Android, preferably with minimal effort; Wired/Wireless: Can be used on both forms w...

Re: Off-center control grid and "message" editting
Cool, I'll be waiting for the next betas.
I knew about custom firmwares, but I don't have any (DeSmuME is in-built afaik). Should it be possible please add message editting to your to-do list.

Re: Off-center control grid and "message" editting
The native message doesn't bother me, breaking it mi dway does :/ DeSmuME firmware editor can edit your message without problems. There's a size limit, just like your nickname. If things like odd symbols can cause problems it should be possible to block them. The grid image should do some kind of st...

Re: Jrpg recommendations anyone?
Nah, already finished it on DraStic. No Mink or Lightning Rage? Absolutely worst version... albeit Lightning Rook is ridiculous from what I read. The issue with TWEWY isn't emulation, but input lag. Unless there's some odd smoothing to make it "feel" more responsive, and smoothing normally sucks, th...
