Re: Drastic on Retropie

Hello Exophase, I'm a moderator over at the RetroPie forums and it's recently come to light that the inclusion of DraStic is potentially something that you wish had not happened. It was assumed by the nature of it's release that this might be an acceptable course of action and I can assure you that...

Re: Permanent animation errors in desmume

There are graphical glitches because fast-forward skips frames, and some graphical effects like the battle transition won't work correctly if frames are skipped. In DraStic I tried to make a heuristic to not skip frames that I thought would be critical for effects but it's really hard to develop som...

Re: Any updates on Lordus' status?

So the ironic thing is, you're thinking about cracking your own application? It looked like he'd be back on and resuming work on DraStic, or at least taking steps to make it easier for me to make updates to the Android builds. But I haven't hea...

Re: Cheat Database is blank after using Randomizer

The cheats database is tied to the ROM by its gamecode in the header. The randomizer must have changed it.

But if the ROM was modified in other ways the cheats may not work as expected to begin with.

Re: Lemmings problem

You only have to create the SD card image and patch the ROM to R4 once, you won't have to do anything again after rebooting your phone. Thanks. I got stuck at step 3 (mknod /dev/block/loop250 b 7 250: Permission denied), so I guess that's as far as I'll get  Yeah, you need a rooted phone for t...

Re: Decrpyting a DS rom or ARM7

The ARM7 BIOS file has to be named nds_bios_arm7.bin and should be in sdcard/DraStic/system
